Rod Baggett is a gifted teacher with over 27 years of choral directing experience, and his approach is enthusiastic and inviting. Rod Baggett is choral conductor at Nevada Union High School. He organizes monthly The Foundry Sings events, choir camps, World Fest choir and workshops. Rod Baggett is one of four featured singers in the group Harmony Happens.
Robbie Merchant is a local singer and actor who has been performing in this community since he was a child. He has done shows at the State Theater in Auburn, as well as local productions with Sierra Stages, including last summer’s Sweeney Todd. He also has sung in multiple church choirs, the NU chamber choir under Rod Baggett, the MIM Chorus, barbershop quartets, and bands like Harmony Happens. He is excited to bring his musical expertise back to the Celtic Festival for this fun workshop.
