Jake Michael
Jake Michael has dedicated his life to the pursuit of music and vocal performance. He began his musical career singing and acting in children’s theater, hosted his own radio show on community radio KVMR, and did two performance tours in Europe with his high school choir. After graduating Sacramento State School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, summa cum laude, he attended an advanced master’s voice class in Germany and is currently teaching voice in Sacramento.
Jake’s passion for Celtic music and the KVMR Celtic Festival began at the very first festival in 1997, He went on to accompany his Mom, Jenny Michael, lending a hand in the Artist Merchandise Sales booth that she managed for 26 years.
Jake is honored and thrilled to join his dear friend and fellow tenor, Jake Pasner, as one of the “Two Jake’s” as they make their inaugural appearance at KVMR’s Celtic Festival!
Jake Pasner
Jacob M. Pasner was born just down the road from the Celtic Festival at his family’s farm in Penn Valley. Classically trained as a First Tenor and French Hornist he eventually bridged into Celtic music through Lark in the Morning Music Camp and has spent the last 20 years singing ballads and attempting guitar. Luckily, he kept his day job as a Professor at Georgetown University so he’ll be fine.
