Learn the timeless art of swordmanship with Nevada County Fencing Club. Students will receive an introduction to Olympic-style fencing footwork, blade work, and elements of a duel. This sport builds excellent hand-eye coordination, strength, and ability to strategize, like a physical game of chess. Since 2002 Nevada County Fencing Club has been introducing young and old to this chivalrous art form. The club meets Monday nights at the Grass Valley Veterans’ Memorial Building. Waiver required.
