Each of these musicians has decades of experience in Celtic Music performing locally and regionally in various events, venues, and sessions. Guy Prudhomme started playing guitar in sessions 16 years ago with his son, Shawn, and then picked up bodhran, whistle and banjo. Shawn Prudhomme began at Alasdair Fraser’s Sierra Fiddle Camp 18 years ago, and is a graduate of UOP in viola performance, and teaches viola and violin at his own studio in San Jose, CA. Cassidy Joy and Karen Woerner have been playing music together in and around Grass Valley and Nevada City for years.
Guy can be seen playing on Thursdays at the National Hotel Celtic Session in Nevada City from 5:00 to 8:00pm, and hosts a session on Mondays at the Wild Eye Pub in Grass Valley from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
