The Low Coals are a raggle-taggle group of musicians that have been playing together in the back rooms, kitchens, and dance floors of Nevada County for over a decade.
Rooted in Scottish, Irish, Scandinavian, and Galician traditional music, The Low Coals bring an invigorating energy and joy-de-vivre to the many songs and tune traditions they flow between. Nevada County locals, Emilie Rose and Ethan Lewis tear up the bow hairs on the fiddle, with Cameron Fraser, Ben Grove, and Delphine Griffith holding it down on the guitar, mandolin, and harp.
