KVMR Presents: A Scottish Ceilidh Dance — Fundraiser for the KVMR Celtic Festival on November 15 at the Miners Foundry! Join effervescent dance caller Summer McCall, a live band of local Celtic musicians, and the KVMR team for a high-energy night of traditional group dancing filled with laughter, music, and joyful chaos. No experience necessary. All dances will be taught and called in real time using inclusive non-binary terminology (“leader” and “follower”), making this event welcoming to all ages, identities, and backgrounds.
This event is a fundraiser for the annual KVMR Celtic Festival and Marketplace taking place May 1-3, 2026. For 27 years, the festival has stood as Northern California’s premiere celebration of Celtic music, heritage, and tradition. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, this beloved cultural event welcomes thousands of attendees annually for a weekend of world-class entertainment, Living History encampments, hands-on workshops, artisan markets, family activities, storytelling, and more.
